• How might people use animals – particularly dogs – to say something about their status? What might be the consequences for the animals in doing that?
• Would you choose a pedigree dog or not? Why?
• What should you look for when buying a puppy?
• Write a case for, and a case against, continuing to breed pedigree dogs.
