Should animals be used to develop veterinary medicines?

This activity encourages students to think through the ethical dilemmas posed by the fact that animals are used in research and testing for veterinary medicines. It reveals why and how this happens, and asks them to use scientific evaluation and ethical enquiry to work out where they stand on the issue.
